Bellarine Secondary College libraries are welcoming and engaging spaces for students to learn, create and discover.
The libraries resources and programs support the learning, teaching and recreational reading needs of the school community.
Resources
We have an extensive collection of high-quality young adult and junior literature in a variety of formats including eBooks and eAudiobooks.
Our print resources are separated into generified collections, some of which include: Wellness, Manga, Crime & Mystery, Classics, Fantasy, Sport, Graphic Novels and many more.
A range of reference and student resource materials are available on a wide variety of subjects. Magazines are available for reading and study in the Library. An extensive range of board games are available for use at lunchtimes in the Library.
Programs
We have several lunchtime activities on an ongoing basis including Chess Club, Manga Club, Lego and ‘art and mindfulness’ days. There are special events throughout the year such as Lego competitions, Art and Book Week activities and coding workshops run in conjunction with staff from Geelong Regional Libraries.
