NAPLAN Locked Down Browser Installation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

All year 7 and 9 students participating in NAPLAN online must install and test the Locked Down Browser (LDB) on\u00a0their BYOD device\u00a0<\/span>prior to the 1st of March 2026\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>to allow for any issues to reported and resolved.<\/p>

Year 7 and 9 students will need to\u00a0be familiar with opening the Locked Down Browser (LDB)\u00a0before<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>test days. If you have previously installed the LDB, installing the latest version will automatically upgrade\u00a0your version.\u00a0<\/p>

All 4 of the below steps\u00a0<\/span>MUST\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>be completed. The estimated time for the download, install and test is only\u00a05-10 minutes.<\/p>

  1. DOWNLOAD<\/strong> the Locked Down Browser to your device. A Guide is shown below.<\/li>
  2. INSTALL<\/strong>\u00a0the downloaded program\/app.<\/li>
  3. OPEN<\/strong>\u00a0the Locked Down Browser, to verify you can open the program\/app.<\/li>
  4. TEST<\/strong>\u00a0using the test menu option,\u00a0including sound with headphones.<\/li><\/ol>

    If you have any problems installing the Locked Down Browser, please stop by the ICT Department for Assistance, during Recess or Lunchtime.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Download Naplan Browser<\/a><\/p>

      2. Please click on\u00a0<\/span>Open file\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>at the bottom of your web browser, if it is not listed there, browse to your downloads folder on your computer and find NAP Locked down browser.<\/p>

      3. Click on I accept the terms in the license agreement then NEXT, then click on install<\/p>

      4. Wait for the installation to be completed<\/p>

      5. Click the finish button to finish the installation<\/p>

      6. Locate the locked down browser on your desktop, you have successfully installed the Locked Down browser for NAPLAN<\/p>

      If you are presented with the following window, to Change, repair or remove the installation, select the REMOVE option, and follow the prompts to remove. THEN Start the process of re installing from Step 2<\/p>
